Talented and lovely, Rachel Weisz is slated to play the legendary and iconic Jackie Kennedy in a film about JFK's assassination. The film is titled Jackie and it surrounds her life being the wife of JFK up to four days after his assassination and the burial. I feel that this movie is going to have some buzz, maybe some Oscar nominations if the performances are up to standards to it.

I'm actually lost for words on the recent death of Corey Haim. I know that for a while he has had issue with drug abuse. I am a baby of the 80's, but didn't really get to enjoy the films until I was little bit older. I loved Corey in "The Lost Boys", which is one of the many favorite 80's movies on my list. This is unfortunate the tale of how your life can be so perfect so to speak and you can hit rock bottom in seconds. I have stressed my concerns on old posts on this. This situation makes you re-evaluate your life in general no matter the profession you have that brings income to you.

I really don't want to get into much detail because it's too depressing to hear because there was one point when he had a show with best friend Corey Feldman called "The Two Coreys" where he did get help for his substance abuse. Unfortunately in the end, drugs became his downfall. I want to send my condolences to his family and friends and to him as well because he went through so much, but couldn't break through the light.

I have to admit this year's Oscars was by far the best awards I've seen so far. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were amazing hosts. I felt that this year's awards had to this beautiful and peaceful feeling to it that it's difficult for me to describe. The night basically owned by newbies. Mo'nique won Best Supporting Actress in "Precious", Sandra Bullock won Best Actress in " The Blind Side" and Kathryn Bigelow won Best Director for "The Hurt Locker" making her the first female director to win an Oscar.

I was very proud to see Mo'nique win that award and her acceptance speech was inspiring on so many levels. Her outfit which explained later in the press conference was a tribute to the first African American winner, Hattie McDaniel who won Best Supporting Actress in "Gone with the Wind". I did not know about that, but it was awesome and historic to see that things are changing and that people of color are being recognized more. I would like to say congratulations to Mo'nique, Sandra and all the other winners at last night's ceremony.

Once again, there is a pretty impressive cast line up on the ultra popular "Dancing with the Stars"."For season 10 we have Kate Gosselin, Chad Ochocino, Pamela Anderson, Shannen Doherty, "The Bachelor's" Jake Pavelka, "All My Children"'s Aiden  Turner, Olympic medalist Evan Lysacek, ESPEN's Erin Andrews, " Reno 911!"'s Niecy Nash, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger  and astronaut Buzz Aldrin. I think I might actually tune in for this season because I am looking forward to seeing Kate Gosselin, Niecy Nash and Shannen Doherty. I know for sure that Nicole is going to one of the front runners because she is already a dancer and that is major points already.

For further cast members I would like to at least see a "Twilight" star on this program. Robert, Taylor, Kellan or even Peter would be a very nice treat to watch.

I know this is a couple of days old and I really wanted to post this up on Tuesday, but I had to take care of a couple of projects that I am working on for the Oscars. I guess that they were so pleased with miss Betty White's commercial that premiered during the Super Bowl that they are considering on having her as a regular on 'Saturday Night Live'. This is pretty cool because Betty White is funny and I adore her on "The Golden Girls" as Rose Nylund. I hope this can worked out because this pretty much history in the making if she is part of the cast. It's good to know at 88 years old that she has it and let that be an inspiration to everyone.

Aerosmith Update

To follow up to my older posts on the whole Aerosmith debacle. It looks like today it was confirmed that Steven Tyler rejoined the group and will definitely be touring this summer. I am very excited to hear that he will not be replaced by anyone. Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock" European summer tour is what is called. I am quite jealous because I have no funds to follow the band in Europe, but hope they will playing soon in the U.S. I want to wish all them the best and continue with the music and peace.

I did promise all of you an update on the Abbey Road Studios.  I am happy to say that EMI is confirming that the studio will not be sold and that a plan to revive is in the works.  I am beyond belief on happiness about this. This place has a lot history that plays an important stamp in music history.  There were reports that EMI was in financial trouble and that's why there were reports of the selling of Abbey Road Studios came into play. I don't know where the reports of it getting demolished came in, but as of right now its safe.
I think the studio should be turned into a museum, which can definitely make profit for EMI. I think a lot of Beatles fans would pay to tour around where they recorded their songs in. I know I would pay money to tour Abbey Road. In general, they are a lot of ways that EMI  can revive the studios. I hope this story continues to have a positive outcome.
