The late and great country singer, Johnny Cash's final recordings before his September 2003 death are finally going to be released this month. "American VI: Ain't No Grave" will be hitting stores on February 26, which would have been the singer's 78th birthday. From what I read the album will have cover songs from Sheryl Crow and Kris Kristofferson. It was also have the last song that he written before his death called " I Corinthians: 15:55."
I'm pretty excited to hear this album because Johnny Cash is one of the most influential and amazing singers that music in general has ever seen. He is one of the artist that I started to listen more after seeing "Walk the Line" with Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. Both of them did a fantastic job playing Cash and June Carter-Cash. I honestly believed that Joaquin Phoenix should have won for playing Johnny Cash. He really made that role his own to tell you the truth. In general, the album is going to be quite a treasure for all Johnny Cash fans. It is definitely something will be remember on celebrating his life and music that he left the world for.
