Now that "New Moon" is finally released, it's official to say that there is seven months until "Eclipse" will be released on June 10. I'm really excited that this movie is coming out in June because I don't have to wait until next November to see it. "Eclipse" is already in post-production and was directed by David Slade. In case you are not familar with Slade, he directed "Hard Candy", which stars Ellen Page of Juno and "30 Days of Night." Cast members such as Ashley Greene, who plays the awesome Alice Cullen and Peter Facinelli are already saying that fans are definitely are going to enjoy the third movie.

I'm quite excited to hear that because "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" are very pivotal to the series and needs a lot of tender, love and care in the films. I will continue as always to keep you posted on "Twilight" updates.

I attended the TwiMoms special screening of "New Moon" on Thursday in which Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli made a special appearance at the charity event for Alex's Lemonade Stand. Everyone including myself screamed to our hearts content. I got a little flirty with Kellan and asked him I wanted a hug in which he smiled, winked and blew a kiss to me. I will definitely remember that moment for the rest of my life. Overall I had fun dedicating two whole days to "New Moon" in which I also camped out Thursday morning to see Robert Pattinson on The Today Show on NBC. Since that "Eclipse", which is being directed by David Slade ( 30 Days of Night) is coming out on June 10, 2010, I will most likely will be going doing the same thing over again. I also have a link to my YouTube, where you can see the video I recorded of them doing the auction at the event so enjoy it.

The movie in general was amazing and true to the book. I'm very glad that "New Moon" came out the way I felt it should have been. Director Chris Weitz is a pure genius, who did a fantastic job by the way on "The Golden Compass" so I knew this movie was going to be awesome. I've seen "New Moon" three times already and I'm still craving to see it again. Kristen Stewart, I feel did a much better performance in "New Moon" than in "Twilight". I thought she was so amazing in capturing Bella's feelings and emotions in this book. I can't not forget how Taylor Lautner's performance as well as Jacob Black.  I'm still in awe on how he transformed his body to play him since Jacob goes through a serious growth spurt.

I feel very connected to "New Moon" for the fact that I understand what Bella went through. I went through something similar to that, so my ties to this movie are very strong. I have to admit I cried during a very important part of the book. This movie was truly for the fans in every aspect of Chris Weitz's direction. He definitely captured the meaning of the novel.

Today is the pretty much the beginning of the final countdown to New Moon. I'm so excited to see this movie. I'm just lost for words literally because I, like many of the millions of fans have waited for this moment. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I will be at the NBC's The Today Show camping out to see Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson on different days. I am intending the charity event that is showing a special screening, which I heard that the cast may be there. So I'm praying that it is true that they will be coming to my special screening. I will definitely will have a special post later on Friday to share my experience with you.

'Sesame Street', the legendary daytime program that taught children their alphabets, counting and reading started their 40th season today. The show which featured Jim Henson's Muppets first aired on November 10, 1969. 'Sesame Street' to this day  continues to be a major staple on children development. Characters such as lovable Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Bert, Ernie and of course Elmo have become successfully popular with today's generation.' Talking Elmo' is still the popular gift for toddlers, which comes in different scenarios.

'Sesame Street' is also known for its awesome guest appearances from celebrities, authors and political figures. S.S. has literally became that show 'you need to appear on or you not cool' type of thing. The list of guests on 'Sesame Street' is pretty extensive. People like Sarah Jessica Parker, First Lady Michelle Obama, Jack Black, Spike Lee... The list goes on!!!

Overall this show has seriously changed many of millions of kids that grew up to be successful and is working on developing the future with its 40th season. I was a hard-core Sesame Street watcher and I have to admit I still do at times now at 23. LOL.  With annual stage shows, clothes and the theme park, 'Sesame Street' will always be the place that everyone is going to ask how to get to.

There are reports from websites reporting that Steven Tyler has left his legendary band, Aerosmith. I am very shocked and upset by this because I love Aerosmith. Steven Tyler is Aerosmith along with Joe Perry, who is an exceptional guitarist. Perry mentioned in the Las Vegas' Sun paper that he has not talked to Tyler since he broke his arm a couple of months ago. He has not had contact with the other band members as well. There was mentioned that the atmosphere between the group was very restrained and that they will meet up to talk about the future of the group. Perry did say that he will continue to keep Aerosmith alive.

Once again, this is very upsetting and a complete blind sight not only to me, but to all Aerosmith fans out there. I seriously hope that Steven Tyler will have a change of heart and that the band can work out their differences.

Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated adaptation of Shutter Island was pushed back apparently due to Paramount Pictures not having the funding to promote the movie. The movie's original date was scheduled to be October 2, but will be released on February 19, 2010. The  movie is based on the novel by Dennis Lehane. I have not read the book, but I have the chance now to get a copy due to the releasing change.

I have to admit did not know this piece of information until now. I did wonder why Shutter Island did not come out yet. The trailer for the movie is very exhilarating with the plot of the story in which two U.S. Marshals in 1952 are investigating the disappearance of a patient from a mental hospital in Massachusetts.  Scorsese is a brilliant director and is one of my favorite directors of all time. Plus it's another Leo DiCaprio collaboration so it's going to be very exciting to watch on the big screen. Mark Ruffalo, Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Williams and Ben Kingsley are some of the cast for the movie. I advise you to preview the trailer because it's going to be a good movie next year. I will definitely post in February my thoughts of the movie and relate it to the book.

To add on to the New Moon events of this month, this Saturday Toys R' Us is doing a special signing with Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed who play Emmett and Rosalie in The Twilight Saga. This is very excited, but there is a catch to the signing. You have to spend $50 or more to get a special wristband for the event that is taking place on November 19. Another factor to this is that it requires you to be at Times Square very early because they are giving them out at 7 in the morning.

I already know one person, who is going to be camping out with her friends this Friday night to be one of the lucky first 500 to get the wristband. So bundle up and I wish whoever that is camping out all the luck and safety out in Times Square.

I'm super excited to know that it a couple of weeks New Moon is finally. I have prepared myself mentally and physically for all things New Moon. My friend, Miriam just texted me that Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be on The Today Show separately for three days. So that will be November 18-20. I will exclusively have pictures and any discussions that happen on those days on the blog that weekend.

Another thing for any Twilight fans out there in the Manhattan or tri-state area is to check out the Toys  R' Us in Times Square. Toys R' Us exclusively until December has a Hot Topic section featuring New Moon merchandise. Miriam sent me pictures of what they have and all I can say it's a definite treat for fans. I will be visiting Times Square this Saturday and I will post all pictures of the New Moon section.

There is also a charity event that is happening on November 19, where a special early screening of New Moon is going to be held. Tickets are $26 so get them while their hot. Miriam and I already purchased tickets for the event. I will also have pictures for that event as well. Plus we have tickets to the midnight showing so it's going to be a very long three days for us.  So embrace yourself because Twi-fans are taking over Manhattan!

I got a text last night saying that the Reel Art Entertainment podcast is up and running for you to subscribe on iTunes. The podcast as I mentioned in a older post is a show that my friend, Gus asked me to collaborate on. It's pretty much a entertainment podcast discussing all things like video games, films, shows, music, etc. We are definitely serious about this podcast and I would like anyone who has been reading my blog or knows about it, to spread the news about the podcast. We also have a website that will link not only to this blog, but the other personalities' websites too. I will let you know that information as soon as I get from my editor. So once again please go to www.itunes.com to subscribe to Reel Art Entertainment.
